How It All Began
Founded in 2009, our family nursery has provided English-Hungarian bilingual care and education since 2025.
Malvin-Ház Family Nursery grew out of a shared understanding between parents and childcare professionals. My name is Melinda Baróczi, and I spent many years working at a nursery in Budapest’s 1st district. As I saw a growing demand among parents for high-quality childcare, I decided to establish Malvin-Ház Family Nursery, bringing together my professional experience, my love of children and a strong sense of responsibility.
Our Malvin-Ház
Malvin-Ház is in one of the most beautiful parts of Budapest’s 1st district, on Gellért Hill, in a quiet residential neighbourhood that is easy to reach. Our part of the villa has been designed to meet both professional childcare standards and parents’ expectations. The furniture and equipment are suited to children aged 1 to 4. The nursery has spacious rooms, a large playroom, a terrace and a small garden. When I set up the nursery, my aim was to offer both children and parents something beyond the usual provision in a state-run nursery or preschool.
Our qualified, dedicated and patient childcare professionals support each child’s learning and development in a warm, caring environment. Drawing on our many years of professional experience, we also provide practical training for SZÁMALK college students and students on META’s early childhood education and care courses.
